The square format works really well for this shot and I like how the dragonfly extends over the full width of the picture. The focus is pretty good, but not quite perfect. It would appear that you focused on the center of the insect's body. As a result of the short depth of field, the head is a little bit out of focus. In my opinion, focusing on the head would have produced a better result.

Exposure and contrast are good, only the colors appear a little bit dull. I think a tad more saturation would improve the picture. All in all, it's a decent macro shot that presents the insect in an appealing way.
